Kiran's Spotlight ~~ Kimberly Kelly Santini

New Beginnings sums things in the studio up nicely right now. After spending the majority of the last dozen years painting animals and pet portraits, I find myself oddly drawn to the human form. And not just a typical 3/4 portrait type of human form, but that of dancers, frozen in paint for just a moment. I'm also far more curious about light as a subject matter and not so much as a means of illumination.

I'm staggering dancer paintings with my other animal pieces, and also working in study about light.

Reinventing myself, and ever so excited to see where that might be going.

Thanks for taking a look!
